IDAHO the Exhibition • Online Exhibit

IDAHO the Exhibition was a huge success, and if you didn’t get a chance to make it to the exhibition - the online exhibit can be viewed HERE.

The site contains all the artworks that were in the show, as well as links to some of the artists other works.

Also, take a moment to view the Hate-Crime Map and forward it onto anyone that may want to add their story about homophobia. The site is gradually becoming International with Australia leading the way.

Check out some photos from the launch of IDAHO the Exhibition 2009.

Watch the video of the Exhibition, which was produced by Inga Ting… thank you x

IDAHO Sydney

IDAHO the Exhibition seeks to provide a forum for members of the GLBTI community to articulate their responses to homophobia, and calls on members of the GLBTIQ community to participate by submitting an artwork in any medium and/or be involved in the workshops.
All artwork will be for sale with funds raised going to the artists and GLBTI community organisations.

The project is supported by Community Action Against Homophobia and the City of Sydney Council, and aims to further the discussion about the pervasive nature of homophobia and increase awareness that vilification/violence based on sexual orientation or perceived orientation is illegal and unacceptable.
IDAHO the Exhibition is a grassroots community initiative and any assistance you can provide is a step towards stopping homophobia.
